In-home sessions
Photograph this season in the spaces where your family life is unfolding.

Melbourne · Ararat · Maternity and pregnancy portraits
Kelly photographs maternity and pregnancy portraits in Melbourne — a calm, guided session, planned as artwork for your home. Studio, in-home and outdoor sessions are also available in Ararat and western Victoria.
This experience is for expecting families who want maternity portraits created as wall art, albums and printed collections. Your session can include you, your partner and children. Families in Ararat and western Victoria are photographed in studio, at home or on location.
Motherhood begins with transformation
When your body is not quite feeling like your own, Kelly helps you feel comfortable and confident throughout your maternity portrait experience.
Locations
Photograph in the Melbourne or Ararat studio, at home, or in a selected outdoor location. Western Victoria sessions are available.
From the first conversation to choosing your finished portraits, Kelly guides the decisions that matter and takes care of the details around them.
Together you’ll work through location, timing, wardrobe and who you would like to include. You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want.
Kelly gives you enough direction to feel comfortable in front of the camera, while leaving room for natural movement, connection and your family to be themselves.
Kelly helps you choose the photographs you love and design framed artwork, albums or printed collections that belong in your home.
When to book
Maternity sessions are usually best between 28 and 35 weeks, when your bump is beautifully visible and there is still enough comfort and flexibility for the session.
Start with a quick chat early in your second trimester, allowing plenty of time to ask questions, plan all the details of your portrait session, and create the artwork you would love to display in your home.

Your family story
Your maternity session can be centred on you, include your partner, or bring in older children so this chapter becomes part of the wider family story.
Kelly gently guides the session while leaving room for natural connection — the glances, touches and quiet moments that often become the portraits families value most.

After maternity
Many families continue from maternity into a newborn session once baby arrives, so this chapter and the next can live together as artwork at home.
Newborn sessions are planned around your due date, with timing confirmed after birth. Enquire during pregnancy if you would like both experiences guided as one journey.

Artwork first
These portraits are created to live beyond the screen. During the design process, Kelly helps you choose the images that belong on your walls, in an album or as part of a printed collection.

Questions
The questions families ask most often when planning maternity portraits.
Maternity sessions are usually best between 28 and 35 weeks, when your bump is beautifully visible and there is still enough comfort and flexibility for the session. Enquiring early allows time to plan styling, location and artwork.
Kelly provides styling guidance and access to the client wardrobe where suitable. The goal is clothing that feels comfortable, cohesive and suited to the artwork you want to create.
Yes. Your maternity session can focus on you alone or include your partner, children or the whole family.
Sessions may be planned at home, in studio or in selected outdoor locations across Melbourne, Ararat and western Victoria.
No. You are not alone in feeling unsure in front of the camera; almost all clients say the same. With gentle direction, Kelly guides moments for natural connection and movement to occur.
You are guided through your portraits in a design appointment and helped to choose framed wall art, canvases, heirloom albums or printed collections for your home.
Digital files may be included in selected collections, but the experience is built around creating finished artwork for your home.
Early enquiry is recommended so there is time to plan styling, location, session timing and artwork. A second-trimester conversation is often enough to begin.
Share a little about your pregnancy and what you would like this season to become at home. Enquire about availability and Kelly will help with the next step.
