Like me, Amelia has a small obsession with babies, and she’s a baby whisperer!

Amelia Lamont is the Midwife Mumma, and you have probably stumbled upon her Instagram or website while frantically searching for baby settling technique at 2am. The Midwife Mumma is a midwife, baby specialist, mumma and her true self.

Mum to three little people, Amelia shares her insightful view from a professional, yet authentically raw place that is welcomed when you are experiencing the rollercoaster of parenting. Her honesty has gained her respect in a community where fluff and glitter is not required. We crave a realistic perspective of someone who gives info like they are in the trenches of parenthood with us, and supports like they are an old friend.

Whilst I have watched @Midwifemumma

from afar, and we had connected online years before, this was our first meeting and I can tell you that Amelia is just as she is online and I felt like she was an old friend instantly.

Love JK & I wanted to celebrate a mum I respect and give them the photography experience that they’d been putting off. This is a special Mother’s Day gift to Amelia and her family. We created a full digital file collection for Amelia, just as many of our clients purchase. We worked together with Love JK to produce one of our beautiful framed print wall gallery options.

Want to spoil your Mum?

We have put together the best gift box of all this year. Our Mother’s Day gift box includes a personalised gift card for a family portrait session, one 6×8″ print with matching digital file and the perfect gin from Patient Wolf – a distillery in my ‘hood of South Melbourne for just $150.

You can choose to add additional print credit to personalise your gift further.

It’s a personal choice…

Designing wall art for your home is a personal choice. There are many elements to consider when creating the design. We work with our clients to understand the style and color palette of their home, and ask questions to discover the feel they want to create with their artwork. Typically, we have found the answers to these questions when we have been planning their family portrait session – well before I’ve even picked up my camera or met clients face to face.

The investment in your artwork isn’t simply showing up to your shoot to take pretty pictures. Valuing the way we help you to create your portrait session is how we design artwork that you adore and will cherish forever.

Some things to consider when planning your family portrait session

  • What feeling do I want to create? Fun & energetic, soft & loving, dramatic & moody
  • Where will the artwork hang?
  • What are my children’s personalities and where is their happy place?
  • What colour palette or tones would I love and does this work with the colours of our home?
  • Have I seen family portraits that have the feel I want for my family?

When you aren’t sure where to start, we are here to guide you through the experience. We’ve captured more than 1000 families and created not only artwork, but lasting memories for them. Head to our Book Now page and choose your date to get started.
